#HoopSeenSZN: The best player I saw so far on our stage was...

Looking back on our season up to this point, there have been a lot of great teams and players who have come through the doors of our events. Now that we are in the first week of summer, it is time to look back on what an amazing spring we’ve had.

Who was the best overall player that I saw on our stage? That’s an easy answer.

Day’Ron Sharpe of Garner Road came to our HoopSeen Tip-Off and inflicted carnage on the opposition. His play has been high-level all season long. That’s not surprising given how he began the travel season. Sharpe and Garner Road beat Game Elite, Game Elite FL, Carolina Pressure and SE United at the Tip-Off. They went a cool 4-0 on the tip-off weekend.

Sharpe has been a trending player all year long on the adidas circuit and that thought should continue into the summer events and eventual high school season. He has an All-American nod from me already.

The future North Carolina Tar Heel is a terrific mixture of strength, fluidity, athleticism and production. Sharpe's passing is next level, too. His coach David West can appreciate the familiar style of play. Roy Williams and staff did a terrific job of locking him up early. We have him ranked No. 17 overall in the class nationally and would expect the composite rankings to soon follow suit with such a grade.

Sharpe is one of the very best players on the adidas circuit and has his Bulldogs ready for a monster July. We saw it coming back in the spring, too.
