Flowers Sets Decision Date
One of the best available guards in North Carolina, Ahmil Flowers, has set his decision date. The Greensboro Warriors standout scorer used a strong spring and summer to solidify his spot as a must-have recruit for southeast programs.
Standing 6-foot-5, Flowers shined on the HoopSeen stage at The Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions earning All-Tournament and a spot on our Top-Overall Players list.
HoopSeen's Justin Byerly had this to say about Flowers' play at the prestigious Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions:
Flowers came into the event with a Colonial and Southern Conference offer. Heading into July, Flowers has to be a must-see for college coaches at the mid-major level. He stands 6-foot-5 and can really get going from three. His ability to facilitate in the half-court and be a defensive stopper on the other end is intriguing. He is built around an athletic frame with long arms that cause problems on defense and are useful when attacking the rim. He has been getting some interest lately from some Sun Belt and more Southern Conference teams. - Justin Byerly
The Greensboro (NC) Grimsley High School product uses size, skillset and a knack for scoring from the perimeter to break down defenses and get his points.
He has a visit to High Point University coming up this weekend and a visit to Radford the following weekend before making his decision on October 4.
