I spent the morning over at Central Gwinnett High School watching some of the top 16U programs in the Atlanta Jam.

A mid-day break was needed to digest some of the early morning action of today's Atlanta Jam.

The lone NCAA Live Period of April tipped off on Friday night and, as expected, tons of college coaches made their way to Suwanee Sports Academy for the annual Atlanta Jam.

Tennessee Tech has long been a regular program at our Atlanta Jam tournament each and with a new coach at the helm, the Golden Eagles will certainly look to establish John Pelphrey’s vision. 

New Kennesaw State head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim takes over a program certainly capable of becoming a top dog in the Atlantic Sun. Getting to that status will take some time.

During the Ron Hunter era at Georgia State, the Panthers actively recruited the Peach State and would land at least one local high school player every season.

Mercer made a big move in the offseason, parting ways with highly respected head coach Bob Hoffman.

Mercer isn’t wasting time on the recruiting front. New Bears head coach Greg Gary and staff had a heck of a week on the recruiting front, landing a pair of commitments and a big transfer.
