2024 Fall Preview: Team 4 Evaluations

We had a fantastic day at the Fall Preview inside the historic Suwanee Sports Academy. During drills, gameplay, and other sessions, our coaches and staff were closely evaluating all the action.

Here’s what our coaches and staff had to say about Team 4:

Landon Gates

Landon Gates, 2026 SG, Stratford Academy: Gates came into SSA and displayed strong ball-handling and coupled that with great decisions. His coach was impressed by his decision-making skills throughout the day.

Xavier Barber

Xavier Barber, 2028 PG, Lanier Christian Academy: Barber was probably one of my favorite players of the day, and it had nothing to do with scoring. Barber is just as skilled as anyone on the court, with a smooth handle and strong finishing ability. He stood out due to his relentless motor and the pressure he applied on defense. Despite being a 5’10” guard, he grabbed almost the most offensive rebounds in the gym, simply because he wanted it more than everyone else.

Thomas Rogers

Thomas Rogers, 2026 PG, St. Pius X: Rodgers came out strong in game 1, making tough shot after tough shot, and using his quick first step to get to the rim at will. Rodgers did a great job of playing off two feet and consistently getting to his spots.

Tyson Sumner

Tyson Sumner, 2027 PG, Mill Creek: Sumner showcased his mid-range game and was dubbed a “mid-range assassin” by his coach. However, he didn’t need the ball to be an effective player. The sophomore was a quality defender, too.

Hari Akrayee

Hari Akrayee, 2026 SG, Coosa: Akrayee put the pressure on defenses with his consistent rim-running in transition. If defenses didn’t get back, you better believe the junior was going to get an easy basket. He also was effective on defense guarding multiple players.

Messiah Graham

Messiah Graham, 2025 F, Notre Dame Academy: Graham was one of the top dogs of the day. He earned a spot on our top performers list.

Christian Dixon, 2028 PG, Grayson: Despite only being a freshman, Dixon fit right in at camp. The youngster displayed a plug-and-play mentality with his versatility. While he may be labeled as a PG, Dixon played a variety of different roles at the Fall Preview
