NCAA LIVE PERIOD EVENTS

There are three NCAA Live Period weekends on the 2022 calendar for travel basketball teams. They are:

April 8-10
April 22-24
July 7-10

The first of the April weekends (April 8-10) will offer up stops in Atlanta and Phoenix, respectively. The Atlanta Jam returns to Suwanee Sports Academy. This is the premier stage for independent teams in the Southeast. The Valley Jam returns to Ottawa University in northwest metro Phoenix for the NCAA Live Period. Both stages are designed for your team’s success on the recruiting front.

The second NCAA Live Period is April 22-24 we will return to the Kentucky Expo Center for the absolutely loaded Grassroots Showcase. This platform was the biggest event in the 2021 season nationally. We, along with Ohio Basketball and NY2LA, hosted over 600 teams under one roof for an unmatched experience. We can’t wait to be back.

For the July 7-10 period, the nation will return back to Atlanta for the incomparable Best of the South. The 2021 event was the single largest men’s basketball recruiting event - ever - under one roof for men’s basketball. There were over 400 different colleges and universities represented at the event last year. With only one NCAA Live Period in July 2022, getting it right in the summer recruiting month is critical. The Best of the South is the epicenter of youth basketball for the live period.

YEAR TWO OF THE HOOPSEEN ASSOCIATION

The HoopSeen Association is an invitation-only platform for top independent teams to maximize exposure, competitiveness and opportunities to play other top independent teams from other regions of the country. We had nearly 80 teams part of the HSA in 2021 and we are expanding in a big way in 2022.

HoopSeen Association teams will represent one conference within the Grassroots Basketball Association and will also compete against other conferences represented by NY2LA Association teams and HoopGroup Showcase League teams from the Northeast.

Optional stops for HSA teams this season include both Tip-Off events (Atlanta and Phoenix), Carolina Jam (Raleigh) and Bama (Hoover). Required stops include Atlanta Jam, Grassroots Showcase (Louisville), All In Invitational (Las Vegas), Best of the South (Atlanta) and Grassroots Basketball Finale (Virginia Beach).

GEORGIA CUP: GIRLS AND MIDDLE SCHOOL EVENTS

The Georgia Cup is back on the US Amateur Basketball platform and HoopSeen will continue to serve as the media partner for the Cup. In this year’s platform, we will extend our reach on the girl's side of the ball. Georgia Cups are open to girls divisions.

We have also launched the girls-only HerStory Classic in May.

The Cup series continues to serve as the premier stop for hyper-local youth teams in the South. The NextGen Jam is the premier event for middle school teams in February.
