What was the most under the radar signing?
Maybe it was the timing of the commitment that has scaled back some of the chatter but South Alabama's pick up of Tyler Shirley has not been talked about enough. March 4th marked Shirley's commitment date and with the many ups and downs of this year, it has been glossed over during the signing period. Shirley gives the Jaguar's a formidable back line piece that has some good upside to tap into. Given his proclivity for the perimeter but willingness to play in the paint, Richie Riley's now has a versatile weapon disposal. With a team that's coming off of a 20-11 season and tends to make splashes in the transfer market, Shirley could be afforded the opportunity to develop in a competitive environment. This signing will look even better down the line.
