Jordan Sears Heading to Big South Conference
Consistent. Team CP25 5-foot-10 point guard Jordan Sears was that word all summer and spring, spending a majority of that time on the HoopSeen stage.
Sears committed to Gardner-Webb University this morning. Head Coach Tim Craft was a mainstay at his games during The Best of the South where Sears was named to the top overall performers team. "It felt like home, it is very family oriented," Sears said about the Boiling Springs, North Carolina campus. His play at The Best of the South earned him a post on our All-Tournament team.
He controls the pace of the game for Team Parsons and is an aggressive guard that is at his best when attacking off the dribble, getting into the lane. He is athletic enough to score over bigger defenders. He will fit in well with the Big South Conference and has a shot to be an immediate contributor.
Team Parsons CP25 Head Coach Jemel Daniels on Spears, “One of the hardest working heart over height guys I know. He never backs down from a challenge and will pick up any player 94 feet regardless of position. He’s the type of guy you want on your team but the one you hate to play against because of his ability to disrupt your offense with his on ball defense. Has elite level IQ and when needed can score with the best of them.”
