2018 Georgia Fall preview Team 7 breakdown

We had a full camp on Sunday for the 2018 Georgia Fall Preview. Each team was balanced with talent, size and grade levels. We begin our team by team evaluations today. Meet Team 7.

Henry Haman, PG, 5-10, Holy Spirit, 2022: Haman was like a sponge, soaking up the teaching that happened at the camp. He had a lot of talent around him in the camp and will have it in HS. Camps like this will help him grow and improve on these talented teams he is on.

Trent Jackson, CG, 5-11, Creekview, 2022: He showed some toughness at the camp and didn’t let the physical challenge of such a stage slow him down. He jumped back into the action after an injury and attacked the rim, sometimes scoring with a nice reverse layup.

Jermyle Jones, SF, 6-5, Riverwood, 2020 (pictured right): A big wing with bounce, Jones had some moments that made onlookers take notice. He’s a solid option on the perimeter as a spot up jump shooter. Keep an eye on him this high school season. He could be a junior season riser.

Ahmir Langlais, PF, 6-8, Holy Spirit, 2019: He shined inside and out, garnering top performer accolades from our staff. Read more about his day HERE

Sheldon Lewis, PG, 6-2, Richmond Hill, 2020: The floor general made others better in the camp. He’s a great passer and pushes the ball well in transition. Really like how he went coast to coast off of a defensive rebound and sparked quick offense.

Jordan Meka, C/PF, 6-9, Mount Bethel, 2020: The rim bender big man was a top performer at the camp and drew the praises of our coaches. Read more about his day HERE

Isaiah Placide, SG, 6-4, Dutchtown, 2020 (pictured left): The big guard is a smooth operator who can score at all levels. He picked his moments to be the go-to guy on offense. Placide can sneak up on you and drop a dozen points on a defense with little fan fare.

Chuck Williams, CG, 5-11, Jenkins, 2021: The guard made his mark on the defensive end of the floor. He has active and engaged hands on defense and jumped into the passing lanes and ball pressure. Williams has a nice burst with the dribble.

Jalyn Williams, CG, 6-3, Veterans, 2020: The long lefty is super quick and possesses a good handle. He gets into the lane and showed that he can finish with either hand. His baseline jumper was a go-to option on offense.
