We continue our deep dive into the top performers from the 2018 Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions from the 17 and under division. 

Zackary Austin, Team Winston, 2019 F (pictured above): Austin put together a strong weekend at Gibbons and showcased himself as one of the best mid-level big men in the field. At 6-foot-7, the versatile 4 man has the size, length, and motor that differentiates him from his peers. Austin was active on the glass on both ends of the floor and picked up several easy buckets in transition. Mid-major programs will want to keep an eye on Austin heading into July. - Garrett Tucker

Eric Boone, Louisville Magic, 2018 SG: Tallahassee CC will have some guys banging down there doors to get in on this Kentucky product. There were a handful of defensive plays made that were worthy of being shown on a highlight reel. Boone's instincts as a defender put him in spots to make some unbelievable plays in the passing lane. The paint was a common place for this Louisville Magic guard as he would blow past the first line of defense,  only to ignore the help defenses contact on the way to an and one. I can't wait to see the finished product after sometime well spent down in Florida. - Tai Young

Isaiah Cozart, M.A.T.T.S. Mustangs, 2019 PF: The next wave of big men in Kentucky are fast approaching but let's dive into Matt's Mustangs big man Isaiah Cozart. Standing at 6-foot-8, Corset made a name for himself here at Bob Gibbons by snatching down a ton of rebounds. These weren't rebounds that fell in his hands either. This D1 prospect would snatch rebounds down at rim level and dare a guard to enter his space on the way down. If that's not enough for you to offer him then check out the Kentucky state record books for blocked shots. - Tai Young 

Damarcus Johnson, South Fulton Lions, 2019 CG: It seems like each and every event he turns his game up another notch. Johnson has climbed our internal rankings quite a bit since the start of the travel season. He just keeps getting better and better and more confident each and every tournament. Johnson is a point producer, a big game situation player and someone who will legitimately earn a roster spot at the Division I level. Johnson cemented that thought at the TOC this year. - Justin Young

Frank Lee IV, Upward Stars Riverfront, 2019 SG: Lee was one of the nice surprises of the weekend. The 6-foot-2 guard lines up as a linebacker on the gridiron, so it’s not a shock to see him embracing the contact and the physicality of the game. Modeled after an old man’s game, Lee is tough and plays with a high IQ. He also shot the ball efficiently throughout the weekend, leading Upward Stars Riverfront to a semi-final appearance. - Garrett Tucker
