SUWANEE, GA - The Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions was a lot of fun over the weekend and the depth was certainly on stage. Let's get into who were the top performers from the most historic stage in travel basketball.
RELATED: Part I | Part II | Part III
Bryce Slay is a 6'6 guard with all the tools to be a high-major player at the next level. At 6'6, Slay can be a primary ball handler or your go-to scorer. He embodies winning with his play style and high IQ. He is always looking to get his teammates involved. Slay knocked down five threes in their first-round win and ended with a game-high 19 points. - Mekhi Mckinney
Ted Neal has been one of my favorite high school players in Georgia to watch since last summer. Neal brings a level of energy to the floor that I haven’t seen matched by anyone else yet. Neal doesn’t just have a high motor; he has uber athleticism that allows him to make special plays like chase-down blocks, recover on defense in ways the offense wouldn't expect, and finish above the rim or over the top of defenders. His infectious level of play has repeatedly led to runs that change the game for his team this weekend. - Mekhi Mckinney
If i was a low-major coach with a scholarship, unsigned senior Chris Crudup would be receiving a phone call from me. True PG that plays with pace and control. Never gets sped up and can get to the rim at ease. Chris was at his best in the open floor carving his way to the basket finishing through traffic. Chris is one to keep your eyes on in the upcoming weeks. - Josh Lane
Camron is a smooth operator, he's always in control. His ability to create for himself and others is vastly underrated. Camron has a knack for taking and making hard shots. He did it time and time again today. He also has the ability to score at all three levels. His high IQ was on display today when picking apart the defense and finding the weakest link and exploiting the mitch match. Several times in ball screen coverage a big switched on to him and he made them pay. - Josh Lane
