Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions: Top 2025 Performers Part II
SUWANEE, GA - The Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions was a lot of fun over the weekend and the depth was certainly on stage. Let's get into who were the top performers from the most historic stage in travel basketball.

A big guard with a big game, Garris played with a level of physicality that was just too hard for darn near everyone to slow down over the weekend. He used his big body to physically overpower the competition and got to the rim with ease. Garris knows how and when to get to his spots and he plays with a great blend of strength and finesse to finish at the rim. Team Huncho was a high-powered machine at Bob Gibbons and it is easy to see why he has schools such as Belmont, Ole Miss, Illinois and Georgia in hot pursuit. - Josh Lane
You can expect the Atlanta All-Stars to always have a player who will be actively recruited by a variety of programs in the spring and the summer. Ritger certainly seems like he’s on track for a good two and a half months ahead. The long and active forward is a versatile problem inside and out. He’s a productive and skilled post player who can step out and confidently knock down jumpers. His skill set is high level and his right place at the right time value keeps him on the floor throughout big-time games. Don’t be surprised if he emerges as a real favorite for college coaches during the NCAA Live Period events. - Justin Young
This is the second weekend I’ve watched Chris Mclavish and I’m equally impressed with his game if not more than I was at the Georgia Cup Finals. Mclavishs playstyle reminds me a lot of Trae Young. He possesses a quick secure handle inside and efficient clean passes off the pick and roll or a dish off from a drive. The facet of his game that draws the most comparison is his elite shotmaking ability and range from the 3 point line. - Zack Cepress
The more I watch him play, the more I think he’s a no-brainer prospect for schools in leagues like the Atlantic Sun and Big South. Brewer is building quite the resume for himself on and off the hardwood and collecting wins of significance along the way. Western North Carolina players have thrived on the HoopSeen platform over the years and it looks like Brewer is next in line to parlay his great showing in travel ball into a good situation at the college level. - Justin Young
