Fall Preview Team Five Breakdown
As we continue to roll out our individual team breakdowns from our Fall Preview camp from this past Saturday, we're happy to bring you our team five evaluations as compiled by our staff and coaches.
Asare was one of the guys who flew onto my radar the most during camp. He’s a strong-bodied guard who can get into the paint at will. He’s a floor general in the purest form. While he’s best at getting downhill and attacking the basket, Asare is also a nice positional rebounder and mid-range shooter. - Josh Tec
Diallo is a player who seems to be engaged and involved with every play. His motor is constantly revved. He’s a crafty ball handler with a high IQ and a strong build. That combo makes him difficult to handle when he gets going downhill.
Arria was one of the better shooters at camp. He’s a defender who’s willing to get his hands dirty and take on tough assignments. After camp, one of the first things that Arria’s coach talked to me about was his intangibles and how great of a teammate he is. - Josh Tec
Morgan is a younger guard with a lot of promise. He seeks to create contact when driving and generally has a nice feel for the game. Morgan can knock down open threes and crashes the offensive glass well for a guard. As he grows as a player, he looks to be a guy that we’ll hear a lot more from.
Ray was this team’s other sniper. He’s the guy you don’t want to leave alone on the perimeter. When he puts up a shot, you think it’s going in every time. His game is well-rounded outside of his ability to stretch the floor too. He’s a nice passer and willing rebounder as well. He’s a guy that you can trust with the ball in his hands. - Josh Tec
