Harris is too good of a player to not be talking about him more. That’s a fact. The AC Georgia guard has All-League potential for a mid-level school. Harris, who plays at Mitchell County (GA) HS, is a multi-faceted player and one of the true breakout guys of the strangest travel season in my career. Harris very good. We saw him put together a resume over the course of four games that justifies such praise he’s getting here. He's a good to great scorer. He’s a good shooter. He’s a dialed in defender. He has a nose for winning plays and when we drill it all down, he just makes decisions that puts his team in a position to win a tough ball game. So, let’s talk more about him. In our final summer rankings for the year, you’ll see how we feel about him here at HoopSeen. - Justin Young
The Upward Stars organization always has some of the best guards from the Southeast on their roster. Head Coach Curt Wheeler does a great job of developing his guys and 2021 guard Jalen Breazeale is the next one for the program. In the two games that Upward played on Saturday during our HoopSeen/BetheBeast Always Live Showcase, he scored 24 points against AC Georgia and 18 points against Team Curry in a win, respectively. He is wried to score and has a knack for coming off screens to get his shot off and is quick enough to blow by defenders. A product of multiple state championship program Dorman High School (SC), Breazeale is a winner and those are the type guys that succeed at the next level. As of right now, Breazeale has an offer from Presbyterian and has been in contact with Iona, Northeastern and Western Carolina. He has taken virtual visits to Northeastern and Iona and is has a zoom meeting scheduled with Northeastern soon, - Justin Byerly
I wrote about him after watching him in action on the first day of the event. Here’s what we have to value more - consistency. And Pridgett is just that. He has been good every game I’ve seen from him this travel season. The class of 2021 guard was a top 20 scorer, a top 5 assist man and top 15 in steals. Pridgett is quick and fearless and getting better and better. There is a value to his game that should translate well to a college program, much like what we’ve seen from other good Georgia guards who have picked the right level. Pridgett could be next in line with regards to that kind of conversation. - Justin Young
The 6-foot guard was one of the new names to add to your college prospect list for South Carolina. Thomas has the ability to create plays with the ball in his hands and was one of the better on-ball defenders that we saw on the weekend. In the two games Upward Stars played, Thomas averaged 15 points per game and also totaled 5 steals and 4 assists in Upward’s two games. Thomas has offers from USC-Upstate and Presbyterian. - Justin Byerly
