2024 Fall Preview: Team 2 Evaluations
We had a fantastic day at the Fall Preview inside the historic Suwanee Sports Academy. During drills, gameplay, and other sessions, our coaches and staff were closely evaluating all the action.
Here’s what our coaches and staff had to say about Team 2:
Chandler Johnson, 2027 SG, Brookwood: Johnson brought some intrigue to the table with his youth and intangibles. The long, wiry guard has nice ball skills and has a world of potential. He did some good things on Sunday, but, make no mistake about it, his best basketball is ahead.
Devin Freeman, 2027 SG, Grayson: Freeman kept defenses honest throughout gameplay with his shooting ability. The sophomore proved to be an above-average shooter over the course of the day.
Jacob Weing, 2028 SG, North Gwinnett: Wrong was one of the youngest players in camp, so he was patient in finding his place in the environment. The North Gwinnett product showed he could make a shot throughout drills and games.
Andrew Spearman, 2027 PG, Notre Dame Academy: Spearman was identified as a top performer from the Fall Preview. We broke down his day here.
Brendan Perry, 2026 SG, Acellus Online: Perry did a fantastic job using his strength and size to be a mismatched forward player. The lefty made a living off straight-line drives and finishing with his dominant hand.
Carter Oglesby, 2026 PG, Collins Hill: Oglesby was one of the most slippery guards in the gym. The slick playmaker constantly broke down defenses and lived in the lane, creating opportunities for his team. He displayed his vision and knowledge for the game early and often.
Braxton Giesler, 2025 F, Milton: Gielser was one of the best players in the gym on Sunday. Read what we had to say about his performance here
