2024 Fall Preview: Team 1 Evaluations
We had a fantastic day at the Fall Preview inside the historic Suwanee Sports Academy. During drills, gameplay, and other sessions, our coaches and staff were closely evaluating all the action.
Here’s what our coaches and staff had to say about Team 1:
Charles Buford, 2025 PG, Notre Dame Academy: Buford did a phenomenal job acting as a playmaker and creating opportunities for others. He did a nice job finding open teammates in transition. He also was competitive on the defensive end of the floor.
Geronimo Holmes, 2026 SG, Notre Dame Academy: Holmes was a handful to guard for opposing players throughout the day. The junior was efficient at scoring at the rim by using his wide shoulders and strength to his advantage. He was a prime candidate to pull a defensive rebound and initiate the fastbreak, too.
Kal’El Riley, 2026 SG, Collins Hill: Riley brings a ton of intrigue to the floor with his size and young nature. He showcased his length and intensity on defense, getting deflections and altering shots in the lane. He played well around the rim during camp.
Dillon Nixon, 2026 PG, Buford: Nixon was tabbed as a top performer from the event. Read what we had to say about him here.
Marciano Bruno, 2027 WF, Grayson: Bruno showed he values the little things when he steps on the floor. The sophomore was one of the best defenders in his class. He used his length and quickness to cause problems for the opposition consistently.
Sebastian Spinelli, 2027 F, Chestatee: Spinelli has a high basketball IQ and it was on full display during the Fall Preview. Playing with his back to the basket, he had a solid understanding of where his teammates and other defenders were on the floor at all times. He also kept people honest by making a couple of shots from the perimeter.
Terry Odom, 2028 SG, Mount de Sales: With his frame and motor, it’s hard to believe Odom is only a freshman. The youngster did his best to leave his mark as he rebounded like a mad man and played hard over the course of the event.
