North Florida lands commitment from B.J. Plummer
When you know, you know.
It didn’t take long for 2025 Tallahassee (FL) wing B.J. Plummer to realize that while visiting North Florida over the weekend, as he followed up his visit with a verbal commitment to the program.
“I ultimately chose North Florida because it felt like family there. They welcomed me with open arms,” Plummer told HoopSeen.com. “I built a great relationship with Coach [Matt] Driscoll and Coach [Bobby] Kennen over the last couple of months leading up to the visit as well.”
Plummer showcased his offensive potential and shooting ability with Pro One on the Under Armour circuit, where he shot 43% from behind the three-point line in 15 games of action. The 6-foot-5 wing’s shooting and skill were just a handful of things that interested the Ospreys.
”Their style of play really intrigued me. I feel like the way they play is going to benefit me in a big way. Coach Driscoll has developed a lot of taller guards like myself. Who says I can’t be the next great guard at North Florida?”
Plummer chose North Florida over a scholarship offer from Stetson.
