Prospect Watch: Coleman Miller
We're back with another prospect watch. Today, I would like to highlight 2024 Coleman Miller. The 6-foot-2 guard plays scholastically for Lyman High School in Longwood, about 30 minutes outside of Orlando. On the circuit, he runs with the Raptors Elite.
During the high school season, Miller scored in double-figures three times. Of those games, he shot 12-of-20 from the field. Miller scored a season-high 13 points against Winter Springs while adding four assists. He also posted two games of five rebounds and recorded three steals against Harmony.
HoopSeen Breakdown:
At 6-foot-2, Miller can comfortably play both guard spots and even small forward. His size and athleticism also enables him to defend multiple positions.
Off the dribble, Coleman has a quick first step and burst between gaps. He does a nice job recognizing and attacking a defense in these situations. With his frame, Coleman can execute and finish with either hand at the basket. He has become a better three-level scorer, particularly from beyond the arc. Coleman could be a matchup problem given his improved offensive versatility. He holds a 4.026 GPA in the classroom.
