2019 National high school hoops fest superlatives: Top commitment, Mark Williams

What a weekend it was as we all gathered at Demathat for some entertaining, and thought-provoking hoops. With the stats tallied and game trophies handed out, I took the time to think back to some prospects that deserved further honors. After watching a handful of committed players take the stage, one in particular, stood out amongst the rest.

A man amongst boys. An immovable object. Unstoppable force. Chose whichever one you like and it will accurately describe the play of IMG forward Mark Williams. A commitment to Duke comes with high expectations, but despite that fact, any that I had were quickly surpassed after just a few possessions. Williams has the ability to touch various columns in the box score and do so in a commanding fashion. It's not just the points. It's not just the rebounds and blocks. It is the fact that he can put a string of those things together after a quick down and back. With coach Krzyzewski sitting courtside, Williams showed us all what to expect from him this time next year.

Our HoopSeen stage is designed to provide the best exposure opportunities for top independent programs. Tons of coaches, social media exposure, and elite competition are some of what you'll find at our events.
