Justin Amadi brought the energy and explosion to the Best of the South and was an eye-catcher with the Upward Stars Upstate program. The 6-foot-5 forward from South Carolina was a trending player on the NCAA Live Period stage. 

To date, he holds offers from Newberry, Coker, USC Upstate, S.C. State and Presbyterian. Each of those schools spent time watching him at the Georgia World Congress Center in mid-July. 

He holds interest from Gardner Webb, Western Michigan, Lincoln Memorial, VMI, UNC Greensboro and Queens. A visit to Presbyterian will be "soon", he said. 

We saw him again in Los Angeles with the Upward Stars adidas Gold team and he continued his high-energy, play-the-above-the-rim spirit like he did the week before. Amadi closed the summer as well as any player from the state of South Carolina.
