Drexel made several trips to the Peach State in recent weeks and its paid off big with the commitment of Sandy Creek-Team Charlotte forward TJ Bickerstaff.
" I feel like it was the best fit for me. They have a great coaching staff. Their playing style fits the way I play. Nice facilities, nice area. They have everything I need to be developed. They have everything I need to develop into a great player."
Once named one of our forwards on the rise, this 6'7 forward brings a unique piece to the Drexel Dragons program. His well-rounded skill set gives the staff an array of options when deciding how to mold his game going forward. When asked about how he feels Drexel's offense and his skill set mesh well, Bickerstaff offered up this thought.
" The way I push the ball in transition and get it out. I can create plays"
This marks the first commitment in 2019 for Drexel as they now shift their focus to the backcourt.
