#Gibbons Spotlight: Chase Hunter
There weren't many more players that took advantage of the April evaluation periods more than 2019 Atlanta (GA) Westlake guard Chase Hunter.
Hunter, a 6-foot-2 scoring guard, impressed many college coaches during the live periods with his ability to shoot the basketball from the perimeter, as well as score in bunches. After a few weeks off from action, it's safe to say that the junior lived up to the billing at #Gibbons. Hunter was named one of the top performers from the event.
"I have offers from Virginia Tech, Clemson, Georgia State, VCU, Texas Tech, Florida Gulf Coast, and DePaul now," Hunter told HoopSeen.com. "Oklahoma and Georgia are showing some interest."
Hunter averaged 13 points per game on the UA Association circuit during the spring. Alongside sophomore Anthony Edwards, the duo make up one of the best scoring backcourts in the South.
While he doesn't have anything planned as of right now, Hunter hopes to make a couple of visits during the summer and into the fall.
"I really want to see Clemson, DePaul, and Virginia Tech. Those schools are on me hard right now."
