McDonald's All-American big man EJ Montgomery is in the home stretch of his recruitment. The 6-foot-11 big man from Marietta (GA) Wheeler has one more visit on the horizon and a decision may be soon to follow. 

Montgomery will take a trip to Kentucky on Feb. 24. The Wildcats are one of the many blue blood programs that have thrown a hat into the race for the five-star paint monster.

Montgomery visited North Carolina and Duke earlier in the week. He was on UNC's campus on Monday, drove back to metro Atlanta shortly thereafter. On Wednesday, he made the same trip to Duke and spent time with the Blue Devils.

According to those close to the situation, Wake Forest, Georgetown, NC State, Southern Cal and Vanderbilt are also in the mix. 

Don't be surprised to see Montgomery, a one-time Auburn commitment, make up his mind soon after his visit to Lexington. The trips to North Carolina were very impressive, according to our sources.
