2019 Alabama Fall Preview Team 4 Evaluations

Our Alabama Fall Preview camp is in the books and our staff of evaluators and coaches have gone through their notes of every player in the camp. Every. Single. One. Today we look closer at Team 4 from camp.

Mark Toyer, 2022 SG, Anniston: Fearless, vocal scoring point guard. Wants the ball in his hands to make a play for himself and others. Loves to shoot the long 3 ball off the dribble with good accuracy. Has a good hesitation dribble-drive move to the basket putting his opponent on skates. Good defender with good length and quick feet. Advances the ball well in transition with good court vision.

Bo Barber, 2021 PG, Homewood: Point guard that gets a lot of paint touches with good passing ability in traffic. Handles the ball with both hands, good head and should moves to the rim. Bo can make the open 3 ball and defend his position.

Tomar Bobdy, 2022 PG, Daleville: Speedy point guard with good ball-handling skills while finishing with either hand at the basket. Understands good shot selection, plays with controlling pace with good court vision making the proper play. Tamar defends with effort and energy staying in great defensive position without gambling.

Austen Griffie, 2020 SF/PF, Pinson Valley: High energy, long athletic wing with great instincts for rebounding the ball offensively with a high clip for scoring put-backs (quick second jump) and defensively while starting the break. Good hand-eye coordination and court vision in transition with good ball-handling skills. Mid-range and 3 point shooter. Good plus defender on the perimeter, good post defender because of his athleticism and long arms.

Joshua Williams and Jonathan Murray were named os top performers. You can find their story here.

Julius Clark was one of our story starters from camp. You can read about him here
