Georgia Fall Preview Team 11 breakdown

We had a full camp on Sunday for the 2018 Georgia Fall Preview. Each team was balanced with talent, size and grade levels. We begin our team by team evaluations today. Meet Team 11.

Terrell Ard, Jr., SF, 6-7, Allatoona, 2019 (pictured left): Overall, Ard had a really good day at the Fall Preview. He was one of the best seniors in the camp. He can play minutes at both the four and the three. Ard is a skilled passer from the three-point line and from the post. He plays above the rim when he wants to and could be considered a sneaky athlete. He’ll only use his good bounce when he absolutely needs to. Ard has a great frame and plays with a high motor. His camp coach said he “can be a dominant force”.

Mekhail Bethea, PG, 6-1, Dacula, 2019: The senior point guard was one of our top performers at the camp because of his great court vision and ability to be a lockdown defender that gets after it. Read more about his day HERE.

Burke Chebuhar, F, 6-6, The Walker School, 2020 (pictured right): The big man was not afraid to go get a rebound for his team. He went after balls in and out of his area. On the offensive side of the ball, he’s a long shooter and was really good in the pick and roll. Fundamentally sound player. Overall, he had a nice day of work at the Georgia Fall Preview.

Ryan Hill, CG, 5-10, 2019: The strong bodied guard used his physicality to shine on the defensive side of the floor.

AJ Hopkins, SF, 6-5, Whitefield Academy, 2020: Hopkins is a long and athletic wing who can stretch out a defense because of his ability to face up and shoot. He can also log productive minutes on both sides of the floor as a four man, if needed.

Jerquez Miller, SF, 6-5, Griffin, 2019: One of the best sleepers to emerge from the camp. He has crazy length as a wing player, boasting one of the longest wingspans in the camp His sleeper potential is very high but still a long ways to go. Miller is a bouncy athlete with a high motor. A lot to like here from a raw prospect perspective.

Cole Perusek, SG, 6-4, Greater Atlanta Christian, 2020: A shooter with good range, Perusek was at his best in the corner with the three-ball. He’s a crafty pull-up jump shooter and has good size to get above his defenders for the shot.

Connor Thompson, CG, 6-2, The Heritage School, 2020: Thompson showed some big time toughness at the start of camp, taking a shot above the eye in drill work. A lot of players would have called it a day but he stayed with it and dug deep to compete. A good ball handler, Thompson took on a lot of lead guard responsibilities. For a guard, he was a really nice rebounder.

Carl Wade, PG, 5-11, McEachern, 2021: A ball handler with no fear, Wade didn’t back down from a challenge or opportunity. He was willing to challenge defenders that stood opposite him and went hard to the rim.

Mack Williams, PG, 5-10, Alcovy, 2020: A good ball handler with good quickness, it was hard for teams to defend him in the half court because he saw spots and got to them.
