Atlanta JUCO Jam Top Performers Pt. 2
Suwanee, GA - A ton of buzz and offers have come for many of the players at our Atlanta JUCO Jam with the wealth of talent in the building across the board. You can look back at Pt. 1 of our top performers HERE & as we begin Pt. 2 of our standouts:
Aaron Jones - South Georgia State College - The 7'0" Big Man from SGSC came into Friday's camp as one of the biggest prospects in attendance. In the days following the camp, Jones has received interest from multiple D1 schools for his services & it's easy to see why.
Jones is a force on the inside both offensively and defensively. His best attribute is his shot-blocking ability on the defensive end and is great with a post hook from both his right & left hands. With a ton of high-level guards on his squad, Jones was a great screener & got into pick&rolls that the defense had no answer for. He's considered to be a Top 10 JUCO big in the country and will be a high-priority for multiple D1 programs.
Isaiah Dennis - Southern Union - We remember Isaiah Dennis from his time at Baldwin HS where he thrived under Coach Ben Smith. Friday was a blast from the past for our HoopSeen team as Dennis did a lot of the same things we remember from his prep days...PUTTING THE BALL IN THE BASKET.
Dennis is an elite shotmaker that makes defenses pay for any sort of space that he's given. After a standout season at Southern Union this past year, he received an offer from Alabama State & throughout the camp he had multiple other D1 programs buzzing about his name. We look forward to tracking where Dennis ends up to play his 4yr ball.
Kaden Douglas - Central Georgia Technical College - After helping lead his team to a regular season championship in the GCAA, Kaden Douglas was a name that our team at HoopSeen was excited about getting to see live. He's a 6'2" 2-Guard that excels at knocking down shots off the catch and has a great one-dribble pull up that he hits with consistency.
The Jones County-product has been able to score for years now but it was great for our team to see him be able to do it so effortlessly against the high-level of competition within the camp. Expect for multiple coaches to inquire about Douglas after a great performance on the day.
Tramello Carter - Bishop State - Team 6's HC Cam Rickers from Dyersburg State was raving about Tramello Carter after his performance on the day Friday and the energy and effort he brought to his team. At Bishop State this season, he averaged double-digits in the scoring department & shot over 40% from 3 for the year.
Carter is a hard-nosed, tough guard that is willing to pick up 94ft and brought a ton of the intensity that we remember seeing from his time at South Gwinnett High School. Tramello did a great job raising his stock this weekend and we look forward to seeing where his game progresses from here.
Trey Callaway - South Georgia State College - Back-to-back 30pt performances made Callaway a MUST ADD on our Top Performers list from the event. After a great day from him, multiple scholarship-level programs were buzzing around the gym to get his services.
This season at SGSC, he was the Starting PG for all 34 en route to a GCAA title & a trip to Hutch for the National Championships ending the year as an Honorable Mention All-GCAA honoree. Callaway was 8th in the country in steals and caused havoc on the defensive end at our camp that showed off his on-ball defensive ability. Look for Callaway to choose his 4yr destination soon as he just finished his sophomore year at SGSC & will be an immediate impact for the school he chooses.
