2024 Fall Preview: Top Performers, Part II
The 2024 version of the Georgia Fall Preview camp is officially in the books and this year’s group came on strong on Sunday at Suwanee Sports Academy. With some high-level talent and depth, there’s a lot to digest from the action.
Following the event, we polled our coaches and staff on their top performers from the day. Meet the second wave of top performers from the event…
RELATED: Top Performers, Part I
Messiah Graham, 2025 WF, Notre Dame Academy: There was not a better prospect in the gym on Sunday than 6’6” wing Messiah Graham. He dominated in every aspect of the game, from his motor to his ball skills. You don’t often see wings who play as hard as Graham, with his ball skills and ability to score from all levels, not have college coaches all over them by the time their senior year rolls around. College coaches should definitely pay a visit to Notre Dame Academy this fall to check out Graham, along with a few other prospects who have transferred in. - Mekhi McKinney
Whitfield Hyde, 2025 WF, Norcross High School: Whitfield Hyde’s game has taken a huge leap since I last saw him this summer with Hoop Atlanta. Hyde walked into the gym with added muscle and dominated. At 6’7”, Hyde did just about everything on the floor. He showed off an improved three-point shot and was more efficient inside, thanks to his footwork and the added strength since the summer. Hyde will be a great pickup for any program looking for a steal and a player with tons of potential in the 2025 class. - Mekhi McKinney
Duan Day, 2026 PG, Peachtree Ridge High School: Coming off a strong summer with Champions Chance 17U, Day was one of the best guards in attendance on Sunday. His ability to get past defenders and finish around the basket is second to none, and he constantly creates advantages for his teammates by drawing two or three defenders at a time. Day is set to have a big year for PRHS, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he made waves throughout the state this season. - Mekhi McKinney
Mikey Carpenter, 2025 CG, Greater Atlanta Christian: This was my first time watching Mikey Carpenter since he went off at our Best of the South tournament, and he had another one of those performances during a scrimmage today. Carpenter was on fire, knocking down tough jumpers and getting to his spots whenever he wanted. His crafty handles, pace, and shot-making ability make it really hard for opposing defenders to stop him. He is primed for a huge season at Greater Atlanta Christian. - Mekhi McKinney
