A-Town Panthers take home GA Cup MS girls division

The A-Town Panthers beat Georgia Lady Generals 33-5 to claim the Georgia Cup II championship of the middle school division of the girls bracket on Sunday afternoon at Suwanee Sports Academy.

The action was one-sided in the title tilt and the Panthers spread out the output. Rockie Sapp scored a game-high 10 points with a pair of three-pointers along the way.

She was balanced by teammates Bay Williams, who scored six points, and Julia Smart added four in the championship game.

It was a perfect 4-0 weekend for the Panthers and as a team, they defended as well as any team in the entire tournament field.
