Fall Preview Team Seven Breakdown
Here is the team seven breakdown from our staff and coaches
Cooke understands how to move without the ball really well. It feels like he’s constantly cutting and finding ways to free himself or create space for teammates. While he moves a lot, he’s simultaneously a patient player too. Cooke can handle the ball pretty well and has some nice moves in his bag.
Harpe is a great rebounder. He’s a guy that’ll clean up the glass and embrace the game’s physicality in a way that most other players won’t.
For more on Johnson, you can read about him on our top performers list here.
Redmond was another player that brought great hustle and energy to the fall preview. He gets up and down the floor very well, can finish at the basket, Ann is just an overall good teammate. Defensively, Redmond is consistent with closing out on the shooter and has good awareness of the location of the ball. - DC
Robinson provided some great energy at this year’s fall preview. He hustles on every play and plays some solid defense. Robinson does a nice job finishing at the rim and is a kid that knows where to be on the floor. - DC
Smith is a solid young guard with a lot of upside to his game. He is 6-foot-1 and moves very well on the floor. Smith has promising handles and is pretty crafty getting into the lane finishing with his smooth floater. - DC
Taylor is a nice small guard that uses his size to maneuver through the defense with ease. Taylor is very elite attacking the basket and has a great floater to go with it. He plays tight on-ball defense and has a nice vert that can catch any team off guard. - DC
Young is a 6-foot-2 guard from Alpharetta, GA, and one word to describe this kid is quick. His handles are solid and are very high level with getting to the basket. Young provided great hustle and it was said that he’s a nice player to have on the floor.
