Anthony Alston: Alston had himself a really strong travel and camp season. He made big contributions for Team Huncho’s 2024 team, and was a standout player at the CP3 camp last month. At 6-foot-1, he is a dynamic PG that can create for himself and others. He utilizes his jab and ball fakes to keep defenders on their toes. 

David Clark: Clark was one of the players I was most looking forward to seeing approaching the camp. I was able to watch him at our Bob Gibbons Tournament in May and was impressed with his game. Standing at 6-foot-6, he has great size as a sophomore. He can be effective out on the perimeter and in the paint. He uses his length to guard multiple positions, too. 

Toney Coleman: Coleman is typically one of the most athletic players on each court he steps on. The 6-foot-2 guard out of Alabama is explosive, a strong finisher, and a great on ball defender. He exudes confidence each time I see him. Coleman missed the last half of the travel season due to injury, but he looked to be doing well on Sunday. I expect him to have a big sophomore season. 

Dakylan Hill: Hill was named as a top performer. You can read more about him here. 

Rashad Holloway: Holloway has had a solid camp season, leaving media members interested in how he performs at Discovery during his freshman year. He has a nice handle and showed that he can make good decisions with the ball. As a streaky shooter, he can get hot quickly and score in a hurry. I’m looking forward to watching how he continues to develop.

John McQueen: Long wings with strong frames always intrigue me strictly based on first glance. McQueen is a 6-foot-6 shooting guard that is an explosive athlete. Smaller guards did not have an answer for him and when the opposing team put a forward on him, he drove right past them. I was really impressed by how active he was on the boards as well. This kid has the tools to be a special player. 

Caleb Thomas: Pebblebrook High School has produced a lot of high-quality guards in recent years, and Thomas looks to be next in line for the Falcons. The 2025 guard is someone that will pressure the life out of his opponents on one end and serve as a steady engine to drive the offense on the other. He’s a guy that clearly knows the game well for his age and seemingly makes the right play more often than not. He can shoot the ball well, but I’d contend that he’s at his best when he’s driving down hill and attacking the basket or dishing to open teammates after collapsing a defense. - Josh Tec

Jared White: White is a 2025 player that the state will know about soon enough. This kid takes no plays off. He is always in the right place at the right time. He runs the floor well, and makes all of the hustle plays. He will be able to learn under Sandy Creek’s current players. 

Wood Woodward: Woodward has continued to develop into a solid player and I am just amazed that each time I see him there’s been growth in his game. Woodward plays with great energy as always and does a great job getting up and down the floor. He’s starting to gain more confidence with his handles and this has helped him with creating more plays off the wing. Woodward has a good shot from around the perimeter and has a soft touch finishing at the rim. - DC
