Spring Preview Team 4 Breakdown

Jabre Mills, 2021, Guard: Mills is a guard with good size, and he can play both on and off the ball. He’s got long arms that allow him to disrupt passing lanes and get steals. He can score at all three levels, but he’s deadly when he gets going downhill. He’s excellent at probing his way into the paint and finishing around the rim or pulling up from mid-range.

Chase Ballard, 2021, Guard: Chase Ballard was named as one of our top performers. You can read more about him here.

Chase Reed, 2021, Guard: If energy and all-out effort are what you’re looking for, look no further than Chase Reed. Throughout the camp, Reed’s competitive fire and toughness showed on both ends of the floor. He’s a lead guard that flexes his basketball acumen by scanning the floor for open teammates and aggressively seeking his shot when appropriate. He’s an adept finisher when he gets around the basket, he makes smart passes, and he rebounds aggressively for his size.

Jacobi Barnes, 2021, Guard/Wing: Barnes is an off-ball guard that thrives in the mid-range. He’s a smart player that knows how to get to his favorite spots on the floor. On the defensive end, he’s got quick hands that allow him to intercept passes or poke the ball away from opposing ball handlers.

Khedric Oliver, 2021, Wing: Khedric Oliver was one of the best pure athletes at the camp. At around 6-foot-4, Oliver can be an out-of-this-world rebounding guard or wing. He lives above the rim, and he looks to dunk everything. He can step out and hit from beyond the arc. Defensively, he’s quick enough and big enough to guard multiple positions.

Jelani Harmon, 2021, Guard: Jelani can fill it up in a hurry. He can score at all levels, but he’s especially dangerous from deep. He’s got the ability to be disruptive on defense too.

Zyair Greene, 2021, Guard: Greene was one of the camp’s most eye-catching players. He’s crafty with his dribble which allows him to get to the rim or create space to get a shot off. Greene can finish tough shots around the rim, and he has a smooth jumper.
