2024 Florida Jam: 15U Top Performers, Part II

After an action-packed weekend in Wesley Chapel, Florida, the inaugural Florida Jam is officially behind us. There were plenty of talented players that ended their travel season on a high note.

With that being said, here’s our top performers from the 15-and-under division…

Luigi Martelli, Rise & Grind: Martelli announced his presence on Friday night with a loud 40-point performance, headlined by nine made three-pointers. The lefty wasn’t afraid to let it fly from deep as he came into the event feeling it. Martelli converted most of his treys in transition, but he also did a lot of damage in the half-court. He did a nice job of using shot fakes to get defenders off their feet and then finishing at the rim, where he usually was fouled and made trips to the free-throw line.

Ayaan Bhadouria, Team Speights: While his teammate Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje received a lot of attention, Bhadouria took advantage of his opportunities and showcased his supreme skill level at Florida Jam. The talented, 6-foot-4 guard acted as a playmaker for his team with his ball skills and passing ability. Bhadouria flourished in transition, where he was able to push the pace and find teammates in scoring opportunities. He also made some shots from the mid-range and beyond to keep defenses honest.

Donnelle Gulley, Panhandle Prospects: There weren’t many players in the 15U age group that impacted the game on the defensive end quite like Gulley. Blessed with quick hands and feet, the young guard was a terror for opposing guards. He racked up several steals per game and got things going for the Panhandle Prospects in transition. Gulley is an intriguing prospect because he’s got a ton of raw potential. He checks the box on nearly every physical attribute you can think of, so keep an eye on him in the future.

Sean Matthews, SCE Smith: Another event, another top performer weekend for Matthews, who excelled at the Best of the South. The athletic guard took advantage of his power and explosiveness and did a ton of damage in the lane. I really like how the youngster plays off two feet. He has such a strong base and it makes a difference with his game. I thought Matthews had a strong July that should propel him into the high school calendar.
