We are fast-tracking to the start of the scholastic high school season. Preseason tournaments are coming up with the regular season to follow. Today, my team preview takes me to The Sagemont School in Weston.

The Lions went 25-7 and made it to the Class 2A state title game last season. 2022 Adrian Cruz (19.6 ppg/52 percent) and Nedas Zukauskas (8.2 ppg/4.6 rpg) are key departures. The Lions senior class as well as some newcomers give them an excellent chance for another Lakeland run.
