Jett Montgomery (Independence) is a name we are all familiar with as he had been a mainstay on our reports each and every month. The Southern Miss signee was at his best during the holiday season becoming the all time leading scorer in Eagles history and surpassing the coveted 2,000 point barrier for his career. He had high games of 29 against Mt. Juliet, 28 against White Station, 26 against CBHS and a 25 spot against Cane Ridge.

Cade Capps (Stone Memorial) continues to impress with his accomplishments. The junior recently surpassed the 1,500 point mark for his career and began the season with a 51 point effort. He also found time for a 38 spot against York Institute, a 37 point effort against Knoxville Webb and a 30 against Pickett County.

Daniel Cochran (Brentwood) is among the most consistent scorers on the Middle Tennessee landscape. The senior has become a must see player for the Bruins with some big time scoring efforts including a 27 spot against the Tennessee Heat and a 26 point effort against Cascade.

Scoring Exploits

Mason Brown (Central Magnet) has turned some heads as his team continues to surprise and his scoring has become a talk around the Middle Tennessee landscape. He managed a 38 point effort against White House and added a cool 29 against Cannon County.

Cam Phillips (Clarksville Academy) has been off to a blistering start this season with scoring nights of 27 against Ensworth and a pair of 25 point efforts against DCA and PCA.

Kenny Ellis (Green Hill) is a name you will be hearing a great deal this season. The senior guard is set to make his name a household one with his scoring forays including a nice 32 point effort against Oakland.

Landon Bryant (LaVergne) needs to be on your radar. The talented junior guard has got to a solid start with big scoring games of 30 against Pine Bluff (AR) and a cool 25 against Clarksville.

Milestones

Auden Slaughter (Santa Fe) is a player that everyone needs to go put some eyeballs on. The junior guard recently moved past the coveted 2,000 point barrier for his career and his scoring exploits this far in the new season have been epic. Lets review. How about this impressive list in particular order starting with 31 against Eagleville, 38 and 43 against McEwen, 31 on Cascade, 46 against Zion Christian, 41 against Perry County, 34 against Frank Hughes and finally a 41 spot against Fairview.

Griffin Cooper (Columbia Academy) is off to a rousing start for his senior campaign. The big guy recently signed with Alabama Huntsville and found the time to etch his name into Bulldog folklore moving past the 1,000 point barrier for his career.

Fred Bailey (Pope Prep) has long been a staple on our monthly breakdowns. The talented senior guard will now forever etch his name into Knights folklore surpassing the 1,000 point barrier for his career.

Jayden Jones (Goodpasture) is among the top players in the state in the Class of 2025. The junior wing will now be forever be immortalized as he moves past the 1,000 point threshold for his young career.

Colby Jones (Friendship Christian) is one of the best kept secrets in our state. The talented back court player recently moved his name into his schools Wall of Fame surpassing the mighty 1,000 point barrier.
