2024 Tennessee Jam: 17U Top Performers, Part III

The inaugural Tennessee Jam has officially come and gone. The Memphis Sports & Event Center was the epicenter of the Grind City this weekend as teams from all over the South competed in the beautiful, state-of-the-art facility.

Looking back on the action-packed weekend, there was a variety of talent from all different levels. As you can expect, there were plenty of standouts from the action in Memphis.

Without further adieu, here’s our third round of top performers from the 17U division.

Jeffries left his mark this weekend as he was getting active early and often for P7 Elite. The hometown kid from Houston High School consistently scored from all three levels this weekend. The 6-foot-1 combo guard lead P7 Elite in scoring in three out of their four games, resulting in four wins. Jeffries, who knocked down twelve three-pointers over the weekend, will be someone college coaches need to keep an eye on for next season.

Davis-Fleming is no stranger to us at HoopSeen, as we’ve seen him succeed on the hardwood since he was in middle school. The 6-foot-8 big man asserted his will this weekend, converting big finishes above the rim as a prototypical roll guy and protecting the rim. Davis-Fleming’s mobility and nimble feet will make him a valuable commodity at the next level with his ability to guard ball screens, defend multiple positions, and block shots. He’s bound to enter the national rankings as a top 100 prospect this spring.

If you’re looking for a cool, calm and collected guard, look no further than Eady. The strong, 6-foot-2 point guard had a solid weekend for his Top Notch (TN) squad, landing his name on our top performers list. Eady was under control at all times with the ball in his hands, where the lefty was able to distribute to teammates or work off the dribble as a scorer. Eady’s thick, strong frame also aids him on both ends of the floor. The Murfreesboro (TN) Blackman product makes the winning plays and makes his team better when he’s on the floor.

Hayes had a quality, all-around weekend in the backcourt for the Rocket City Suns as he impacted games in many different ways. Need a tough finish at the rim? Check. Need someone to create opportunities for others? Check. Need a versatile defender and capable rebounder from the backcourt? Check. The 6-foot-2 guard touched the game in all facets over the weekend. His physical attributes and intangibles make him an intriguing prospect for the next level.

Cameron Brown had an impressive four game stretch in our first annual Tennessee Jam. The Whitehaven (TN) wing scored a game high 18 points vs TNBC and was a matchup problem on offense and defense for Team Thad EYCL opponents all weekend. Cam was really good in transition this weekend but he was most effective on the defensive side of the ball using his long arms to get into playing lanes and really disrupt the opponents offense. Standing at 6-6, Celebrity Cam will be one of the more interesting 2025 prospects in the city of Memphis next season.
