Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions: STARS Basketball takes Jaylen Brown 17U championship

STARS Basketball Club defeat Atlanta All-Stars 59-39 to win the 11th Grade Jaylen Brown Championship Bob Giddens TOC on Sunday.

The STARS had a massive turnaround where they were down for most of the first half, gained the lead for the first time in the second half and never looked back. Cade Capps led the way for the STARS as a main ball handler, knockdown shooter and made multiple hustle plays. The 6'5 guard finished with 13 points.

It wasn't just Capps as the whole team came to play in the championship game. Eli Finley, Kevinas Sacas, and Devon McKinnon all scored in double figures to push the STARS across the line. It was a team effort all weekend as it didn't matter who scored for them and they earned every win they got.
