All-HSA: 15U stud Zy'Vaun Puckett
You’re going to hear a lot about Mr. Zy'Vaun Puckett in the years to come. He and his talent-rich LionChaserU team did work this season on our platform in the 15 and under division.
They made stops all over the South and made believers out of those who laid some eyes on them. Puckett was a big reason why.
He’s a big, physical guard who uses his aggressiveness to his advantage. His bruising style of play made defenders really make tough decisions. He wanted to test some young manhood on the 15U stage. Puckett, more times than not, won out. His brand of basketball is transferable to the next level of high school hoops and onto the college stage. It will be fun to see where his game levels up to as we look ahead to the 2024 calendar year. Puckett was brilliant this season.
Simply put, there just wasn't a guy like him on our platform in our younger age groups this season at the wing position. He was a force.
