Crotty Commits to Oklahoma State

Ryan Crotty who first made a name for himself on our HoopSeen stage with the Team Wall organization has called it for Oklahoma State. Crotty took the first of his official visits to Oklahoma State last weekend and will not be making anymore with the news of his commitment. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard played his high school basketball in Raleigh, North Carolina at Holly Springs High School before transferring to The Miller School in Virginia.

Back in 2022 at our Best of the South, Crotty was impressive and was named to the Top Performers list.

"Mid-major to high-major schools will be recruiting Crotty next year at The Best of the South. Crotty has the size at 6-foot-5, the understanding of the game and the ability to shoot at a high level. Crotty plays under control and has a high-basketball IQ. In the games we watched for Team Wall, Crotty was a big reason they went undefeated on the week and knocked off 3D Empire twice. He has a really nice-looking shot and size, something that mid-major programs have been recruiting a lot of lately." - Justin Byerly

Crotty will be the first 2025 recruit for Steve Lutz and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He had a long of suitors and a few more visits set up over the next few months. Originally in the 2024 class, Crotty spent a year at The Miller School in Virginia and is a member of the 2025 class.
