On the gridiron, Crest High School senior running back Mari Adams has won almost every award you can think of. From being named All-Big South Conference, All-Big South Offensive Player of the Year and the single season all-time leading rusher in school history. Adams is a big deal in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. He was also named the Big South Conference Player of the Year in basketball last season after leading Crest to the NCHSAA 3-A semi-finals.
