NC Rim Runners Claim Carolina Jam 17U Championship

RALEIGH, N.C — North Carolina Rim Runners knocked off Legit Paper, to capture the 15U championship at the HoopSeen Carolina Jam on Sunday.

Dominic Payne led the charge for NC Rim Runners, tallying 17 points in the high-pressure contest. He had a great overall weekend for NC Rim Runners and showed that he can play at the collegiate level. He already has a solid frame and has a knack for scoring the ball that he showcased throughout the weekend. 

This was a tight game until mid-way through the second-half when NC Rim Runners started consistently knocking down shots and spreading the lead out. Drew Hollifield and Tanner Walters were big for NC Rim Runners and contributed in a big way in helping secure the win for Head Coach Ricky Ritch and his squad.
