As we look back on the 15 and under division from the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, there were a number of players that stood out and impressed. Here’s a peek at part two of our top performers from the age group.

KaJuan Hale, 2018 PG, EOTO: There weren’t many more competitive guards in this age group than Hale. The 5-foot-10 floor general has great vision and passing ability. He made several full court passes to teammates for layups. He is crafty with the basketball and get to the rim to finish, too. - GT 

Cordarius Hastings, PG, Georgia Stars, 2018: The Griffin High School product had a particularly strong showing at Gibbons by pulling down the MVP award of the 15U division. Hastings' strength is perimeter shooting where he's already really good in spot situations. The 15U Georgia Stars squad had a number of players that could have been in contention for the MVP award, but even Hastings' head coach agreed, Hastings was the guy. I'll be interested to see how he transitions his progress this spring into July and even next season. - KK

Nelson Phillips, SF, Middle Georgia Raptors, 2018: There was a short list of players that jumped onto the map for me that I hadn't known about before at Gibbons and Nelson Phillips was one of them. Phillips already has advanced size and skill set at a young age that make him incredibly intriguing. Phillips, in my opinion, is a Georgia player to get on your radar immediately. - KK

Joseph Tharrington, G, Team United, 2019: Tharrington is very unassuming when he steps onto the floor. But don’t let his look fool you; this guy can flat out play. A very smart guard, he was the straw that stirred the drink for Team United 2019 at Gibbons. He runs a very good point and makes the right decisions at the right time with a very high basketball IQ, which is impressive for a young player. Tharrington was also a killer from deep, knocking down shots when they came his way. - CW
