As we look back on the 15 and under division from the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, there were a number of players that stood out and impressed. Here’s a peek at part one of our top performers from the age group.

Christian Brown, SF, Team United, 2019: Brown was one of the best young prospects at Gibbons. With size and athleticism that is rare to see in an 8^th grader, Brown showed a very well rounded game. He shot lights out from beyond the arc and showed that he can get to the rim, where he finished with some big time dunks. Did we mention that he is just in 8^th grade? This is definitely a name to remember, as you may hear a lot of it over the next few years. - CW

Drue Drinnon, CG, Georgia Stars, 2018: He has been a fixture at HoopSeen events this spring, so I've been able to get familiar with his game. He was strong the first few games before deferring in the semifinal and championship games. The unique thing about that is he was able to defer to guys like Cordarius Hastings, Damon Harge, and Mohammed Abdulsalem and his team didn't skip a beat. It's easy to assume Drinnon is the leader of his Georgia Stars squad as he was able to do what was needed, whether it was scoring or distributing. - KK 

Damon Harge, PG, Georgia Stars, 2018: The Floridian came into the Gibbons weekend as a known commodity as a top flight ball-handler. We knew that. He definitely displayed that skill and speed at Gibbons. Much of the success of 15U MVP Corderius Hastings came from Harge creating opportunities for Hastings to score. At this point, Harge's ball-handling and distributing are plus skills. If he can develop into a better scorer, there's no doubt Harge will be a commodity for college coaches as well. - KK 

Noah Lott, PG, Georgia Kings, 2018: Lott was one of the most scrappy guards I saw over the weekend. The 5-foot-9 guard isn’t afraid to get after it on defense, as he made things difficult for the defense. On offense, he uses his quickness and speed to get in the lane. He also hit a couple of 3s to keep the defense on its toes. - GT 

Bailey Minor, PF, North Georgia Elite, 2018 (pictured above): The big man did what he does so well - he made life difficult for defenders in the low post with his natural strength, face up game on offense and his ability to start the break for the talented North Georgia Elite 15U squad. Minor is incredibly consistent and has taken care of business all travel season at SSA this spring. - JY
