2022 Alabama Preview Camp Team 2 Evaluations
GUNTERSVILLE, Al—As we continue our deep dive into the Alabama preview camp from Sunday, here are the team two evaluations as compiled by our staff and coaches.
Vance had a good showing in Guntersville. He had great moments as a shooter and proved to be a threat from 3-point range when he got into a rhythm. On the other end, Vance is a tough defender. He was able to guard on the perimeter, but he also held his own well when guarding bigger players in the paint.
Man, Burkett was tough! He brought his hard hat and went to work. Burkett was on a different level than most in terms of competitiveness and intensity. No matter the matchup, he was determined to win it. He was one of the better defensive players because of the mentality he brought to the floor. Burkett’s effort led to good offensive moments too. He had stretches where he showed three-level scoring.
A long, 6-foot-5 guard, Williams is an intriguing prospect based on his frame alone. Williams showed touch from mid-range. Only a sophomore, he has plenty of time to continue to develop. Throughout that process, he could emerge as a name to know in the state. He has a good foundation in place to build upon.
Tyson Sexton was tabbed as one of the camp’s top performers. You can read more about him here.
Bell made terrific passes and reads all day. He had some potent scorers on his team, and he did a great job when it came to feeding them. He scored it well himself and proved to be a threat from 3-point range. Bell’s toughness should be noted as well. He embraced the dirty work all afternoon. Bell is the kind of player that leads to wins.
Kaden Justice was tabbed as one of the camp’s top performers. You can read more about him here.
