Team CP3 Claims Bob Gibbons TOC 16U Black Bracket

SUWANEE, GA - 

A battle of two shoe teams from North Carolina. Nike and Under Armour. CP3 with a 25-22 halftime lead. Bishop Boswell with one of his best games of the weekend in the first half had 11 points and finished with 17 points. The pressure on the ball and transition scoring led to a 10 point lead at the under 10 minute mark for Team CP3. Lewis Walker with a good second half, showing he can score around the basket and out in the mid-range.

Bryson Cokley with a huge and-1 with 8:20 remaining to put the lead at 40-28 with 8:20 remaining, then Team Curry's Julien Iturbe cuts it to 8 points with a three from the corner with 6:20 left. 

Iverson King for Team Curry with the and-1 in transition to cut the lead to 47-43 with 5:23 to go. 

CP3's Maurio Hanson with a great post up and spin move with 3:20 left to make the lead 52-45 with 3 minutes left and that would be as close as it would get.

CP3 gets the win 61-54 over Team Curry. Leading the way for Team CP3 was Bishop Boswell with 17 points and Lewis Walker with 14 points. 

Team Curry was led by Julien Iturbe with 20 points including making four three-pointers. 

Both teams were undefeated heading into the title game.
