HoopSeenW Spring Preview Camp Team 3 Breakdown

Aaryanna Guishard, 2026 - Guishard was one of the top middle school players at the event. At 5-foot-8 she has a long frame that she is able to utilize on both ends. She is at her best in transition where her decision making, finishing, and passing skills shine. Although she was one of the youngest players in attendance, she played with so much poise and confidence.

Sasha Joesph, 2025 - Joesph was one of the more versatile players that I saw at the camp. Standing at 5-foot-11, this kid possesses good size and length. She has a nice handle and can score it inside-out. Defensively she can guard both guard and forward positions. Joesph was really good on the boards, too.

Jakia McGregor, 2023 - McGregor is a great teammate to play with considering she does not need the ball in her hands much to make an impact. She moves really well without the ball and gets to open spots quickly. She shoots at an efficient clip and finishes with either hand around the basket.

Gabby Pass, 2023 - Pass was one of my favorite players to watch throughout the day. I love the pace that she plays with; she constantly looks to get the ball up the court and push the tempo. She is a quick guard that rebounds well for her position. Her ability to create space to get her shot off made her difficult to defend.

Damiya Smith, 2022 - Smith is a patient post player with a soft touch around the rim. She is often at the right place at the right time where she is able to come up with easy buckets. She has a solid array of moves on the low block where she displays her good footwork. Smith can step out and knock down mid-range jumpers too.

Jeanette Taylor, 2025 - Taylor handles pressure well, especially for a freshman. She showed that she can take care of the ball and make good decisions in clutch situations. Her passing ability has the potential to be a strong aspect of her game. She has the ability to see the play develop a few steps ahead and throw her teammates open.

Samirah Walters, 2024 - Walters was named a top overall performer. Read more about her here
