Apex High School reached the NCHSAA playoffs for the first time in six years this past season. 6-foot-9 junior forward Sam Martin was a big piece in their recent success. The 2023 prospect averaged 15.8 points, 9.6 rebounds and a ridiculous 5.5 blocks per game. Apex reached the first-round of the playoffs this season falling to Hillside High School.
