I want to say thank you to everyone who has given their support and prayers for my Dad as we struggle through this tough time.

THE CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR SEASON AND THE DISTRICT PLAYOFFS

MIDDLE TENNESSEE

Milestones:

Gus Davenport (Cannon County): The Mr. Basketball finalist had his usual scoring prowess including a 30 point effort against Westmoreland and a 26 spot on Watertown. Davenport also pushed past the coveted 2,000 point barrier in his career.

Stratton Lovvorn (Community): The senior forward dumps 30 markers on Forrest and becomes a legend in the making for the Vikings surpassing the 1,000 point plateau for his prep career.

Scoring Efforts:

Grant Strong (Clay County): The Tennessee Tech signee continues to pile up the accolades. How about this for a week to close out the regular season of his senior campaign. He drops 44 against York Institute, then manages 35 against Harriman, adds 31 more in another contest against York and finishes with 28 against Clinton County.

Jarred Hall (Lebanon): The highly touted junior prospect was at his best as the regular season came to a close. Hall dumped 41 against Mt. Juliet, then added 32 against Oakland and finally managed a cool 27 in a big district win over Green Hill. This man is on an upward trajectory as the playoff commence.

Malik Dia (Ensworth): The Vanderbilt signee made it his mission to close out his final prep season with a bang. He dropped 33 against nationally-ranked Brentwood Academy, added 26 against Lipscomb Academy then dropped a pair of 25 point gems on CPA and Baylor. The pleasure has been all mine young man.

Damon Fann (LaVergne): The Cleveland State signee is putting the finishing touches on an outstanding senior season. Fann dropped 30 against state-ranked Cane Ridge and followed that up with a sic 26 against Smyrna.

Trevon Bass (Siegel): Senior guard saved his best for the closing bell of the regular season. Bass dropped 37 against Riverdale and followed that up with a nice 28 against Blackman.

Brandon Miller (Cane Ridge): Watch him while you still can. The McDonald's All American selection and sure fire Mr. Basketball winner was at it again as he closed out his final prep campaign regular season with a pair of 29 point efforts against Smyrna and Stewart's Creek respectively.
