Elite Preview Team 11 Breakdown
Ethan Carter: At 6-foot-5, Carter has nice size for his age. He’s a versatile weapon who can score inside and out, and he’s active on boards too. Carter’s camp coach raved about his skill level, and it’s easy to see why. He’s one of the players that cemented himself as a player for us to closely monitor moving forward. - Josh Tec
Shiloh Dunn: Dunn is very quick off the dribble. He can get into the lane through bigger defenders and finish at the rim. As he continues to earn more reps and develop confidence, he will only improve.
Christopher Hutchinson: Hutchinson’s coach went on and on about his defensive ability. He even said that he “could not take him out of the game.” On the offensive end, he found success when he was able to slow the game down and let it come to him. As long as he plays his game and does not try to overcompensate, he can be effective.
Malique Johnson - Johnson was named a top performer. Read more on him here.
Sam Mead: Mead shot the ball very well from three. He has a quick, consistent stroke that is a sight to see. At 6-foot-2, he rebounds the ball well among bigger players. This kid hustles and does the little things without having to be asked.
Brandon Simmons: Simmons is a great leader and communicator on both ends of the floor. He has an effective floater in his bag, and he knows when to exploit gaps and find open space. We loved his aggression on both ends of the floor.
Connor Teasley: Teasley is a competitive guard who really brings a great attitude to the floor. He’s got the intangibles you want out of your point guard. He excels both on and off the ball too. As he develops his ball handling more, I think he’ll be a solid lead guard, but he can also serve as a great catch-and-shoot weapon.
