Legendary coach Angie Hembree to headline inaugural HoopSeenW Preview Camp

Well respected basketball coach Angie Hembree will serve as the camp director for our inaugural HoopSeenW Preview Camp on October 24, 2021, at Suwanee Sports Academy in metro Atlanta.

Hembree is a six-time GHSA State Champion and coached the 2014 McDonalds All American East team. She also served as an assistant coach at the University of Miami. She has won several awards for her coaching prowess, including the Atlanta Dream Suntrust Bank Inspiring Women Award.

Hembree has coached many college and professional stars including Maya Moore, Diamond DeSheilds, DeErica Hamby and Tiffany Clarke.

“When we launched our Preview camp series over a decade ago, our intent was to provide a stage that allowed young players a peek to what the college practice experience is all about. In order to do that, the camps have to be taught by experienced and accomplished coaches. Angie Hembree is the best coach to help launch our women’s platform,” HoopSeen president Justin Young said. “Her professional experience at every level allows prospective collegiate student-athletes a chance to have an authentic view at what’s next for these young women.”

Our HoopSeen Preview Camps have been the starting point for several collegiate and professional careers on the men’s side and we are happy to bring what we do at HoopSeen to women’s basketball. Our Preview Camps are meant to give players a glimpse of what practices in college are like and allow players to start their journey to the next level.

Every player will be evaluated by our media team and receive a headshot at the HoopSeenW Preview. Click HERE to register and get more information.
