Georgia Cup III: 14U Championship

14 AND UNDER: Atlanta Nets 57, Georgia Kings 44

The two teams faced off on Friday, and the Georgia Kings were victorious in that meeting. From then on both teams went undefeated only to bookend the weekend with another battle for the 14U championship.

This time, the Nets led wire-to-wire en route to becoming the 14U champions. Despite several runs by the Kings, the Nets were able to withstand and avenge their Friday loss.

Lester Pond was one of the best scorers at the entire event regardless of age group, and it showed in the championship game when he scored 20 points for the Nets. Ziair Finch had a solid game as well. He finished with 16 points.

The Georgia Kings had an impressive weekend. They went 5-1 with a pair of double-digit wins in the middle.
