14 AND UNDER (Black Bracket): Team Power 64, GSW Black 53
Team Power had been dominant coming into this championship game, beating all of their opponents by an average of 32 points. They were incredibly confident coming into the matchup with GSW who had also made it through their bracket relatively easily. GSW was able to keep it within single digits through the first half, but Team Power was able to turn it up a little in the second half.
Team Power had used a balanced scoring attack to enter this game undefeated and the championship was no different. There were three players in double figures led by Isaiah Philyaw who had 12 points. Ty Jones and Ousmane Kranee had 11 each. Big man Bryce Reynierson finished with seven points and added well over 10 boards. He was a real force inside.
GSW black definitely gave Team Power their toughest test of the tournament. They were in striking distance and kept it close for the majority of the game. They were led by Tanner Savisir who led all scorers with 15 points.
The guard play of Team Power was ultimately the difference maker. Each of their guards was aggressive in attacking the basket and played with high energy on defense.
